Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) and authorised dealer partner, Hap Seng have launched the Hap Seng Kuching Autohaus. The RM53 million facility is the first ever integrated one-stop centre for sales of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, commercial vehicles and after sales.
The 3S centre has a built up area of 18,383 square metres and is managed by 40 personnel. It’s capable of servicing up to 510 vehicles a month and has 16 work bays as well as a dedicated spray booth. The Kuching Autohaus is also equipped with a full length work pit, enabling extensive servicing for the full range of commercial vehicles.
But why Sarawak, you ask? According to President and CEO of MBM, Dr Claus Weidner, Sarawak is the fourth largest market in Malaysia for their Commercial Vehicles after Klang Valley, Johor and Penang.
Hap Seng currently operates in 11 locations, with three being in East Malaysia – Kota Kinabalu, Miri and now Kuching. The Hap Seng Kuching Autohaus is located at Lot 11298, Section 64, KTLD, Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim, 93450 Kuching, Sarawak.
