2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake is coming to challenge established German estates!

Station wagons or estates are pretty much dominated by the Germans, such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate and BMW 5-Series Touring. Jaguar has gone on to release teasers of their new contender, the Jaguar XF Sportbrake, which will be available in the coming months.

The Jaguar XF Sportbrake will be based upon the same aluminium-intensive platform which underpins the recently launched Range Rover Velar. It is of course based on the sedan with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm, and shared as well are the powertrains. Right off the bat, the Sportbrake will be powered by 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel mills, a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine and 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6.

Isn’t the silhouette on the Wimbledon court a brilliant tease?!

The XF Sportbrake is penned by none other than Ian Callum, the man who turned modern Jaguars into desirable, alluring machines. Will it come to Malaysia? Quite likely, really, so stay tuned for more updates!
