Since its launch in March 2014, the Honda City went on to be the best selling model for Honda Malaysia with over 100,000 units delivered to date. For those of you who waited it out, well, the City is only going to get better.

The star of the show here is none other than the range topping V variant, the sole recipient of LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps. It will also get LED tail lamps, a duck tail spoiler with integrated LED brake lights as well as multi-angle reverse camera as standard, while sitting on a brand new set of 16-inch alloys. The V variant is the only one to come with six airbags.

What’s even more appealing is that the push start button and keyless entry will be standard across all variants, as are safety systems such as Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist and Emergency Stop Signal.

It remains mechanically identical to the outgoing City, with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine up front that’s paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Boot space is still class leading at 536 litres.

Customers who place their booking now will be the first to receive the keys to the facelifted City. It will be launched sometime in the first quarter of 2017, meaning it could arrive as early as this month or the next!
