BMW 118i M Sport launched, priced at RM188,800!

Debuting alongside the 330e M Sport is the BMW 118i M Sport, the only rear-wheel drive model in its class. At RM189k, it costs RM15,000 more than the 118i Sport, which is exactly the deducted amount when the 1 Series received EEV incentives.

For the money, you get M Suspension package, 18-inch lightweight M alloy wheels, M-specific front and rear bumpers, chromed kidney grille with gloss black slats, BMW Individual Shadow Line and M badges. The 118i M Sport now gets LED fog lamps and Comfort Access system (keyless entry) as standard.

The changes inside the car mirrors what the 330e M Sport gets: M leather steering wheel, black headliner and some blue trims surrounding the cabin.

Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine, capable of pushing 136 hp at 4,400 rpm and 220 Nm of torque from 1,250 rpm, paired to a sole eight-speed ZF automatic. It’s adequately quick too, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds before topping out at 222 km/h!

Like any other BMW purchases, the 118i M Sport comes with 5-Year unlimited mileage warranty, free scheduled service and BMW Tyre Warranty Programme. Four exterior colours can be optioned for, beginning with Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Mineral Grey and Estoril Blue.
