Bermaz Motor recently celebrated the graduation of 163 talents from their talent pool, all of whom will join the company to further strengthen Mazda’s technical and after sales support.

Back in 2010, Bermaz Motor established the Mazda Apprenticeship Programme (MAP) to develop a skilled workforce under a positive training culture. To date, Bermaz Motor has invested more than RM10 million to this human capital development programme. This convocation celebrates 51 graduates from batch four and five from MAP, 15 from Body and Paint Programme, 69 from Mazda Master Technician and 28 from Mazda Master Senior Service Advisor.

The MAP is sanctioned by the Ministry of Human Resources, Institute of Motor Industry Awards Limited, UK and Mazda Motor Corporation as an Accreditation Centre on Motor Vehicle Mechanic Training provider. As such, all MAP graduates are awarded with a Malaysia Skill Certificate (Level 3, K-Worker), Diploma from IMIAL-UK and Mazda Master Level F. Graduates are also offered employment opportunities at Mazda’s After Sales Service Centres throughout Malaysia.2016 Mazda Apprentice Programme Convocation

This training programme is primarily for high school leavers whom are interested in pursuing a career as a automotive technician. Candidates who meet Bermaz Motor’s requirements are entitled to a full scholarship by Bermaz Motor, plus a guaranteed employment with the Bermaz Motor for a minimum of three years. Scholarship recipients will also receive monthly allowances throughout their programme.

As a sign of support to this nation building initiative, Shell Malaysia will be contributing RM50,000 annually for the next five years. Shell has been a preferred lubricants partner for Bermaz Motor since its inception back in 2008. AutoBuzz.my would also like to extend our heartiest congratulations to all graduates from the training programme.
