Ferrari F40 voted most iconic supercar of all time!

Now this is a topic of debate. In a 10 iconic supercar lineup comprised of the McLaren F1, Porsche 911, Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari Enzo, Audi R8 and Alfa Romeo 8C, the Ferrari F40 came out at the top of the polls as the most iconic supercar of all time.

The votes were carried out by the organisers of The Fast Car Festival, a major new car show that will take place in Donington Park in Derbyshire at the end of this month (30 to 31 July 2016). Votes were casted throughout June, and upon tabulation the F40 bit the largest chunk of the pie with 18 percent of the total vote! Its closest runners-up were the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Ferrar LaFerrari and McLaren F1.McLaren-F1-final (2)

The Ferrari F40 was built to commemorate the brand’s 40th anniversary when it was introduced back in 1988, and was the final model signed off by Enzo Ferrari himself before his death. These 10 supercars will not be the only models on display at the Fast Car Festival, though. Porsche, Aston Martin, Lotus and McLaren will all join the fray with some of their most hardcore performance cars, as well as a few more from Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Jaguar.

Among them is the RM10 million Ferrari FXX prototype, a Lamborghini Huracan and some four models from McLaren. There will also be a Retro Paddock for classic car owners to display their prized collections. 2016 Lamborghini Huracan at Bangkok - AutoBuzz.my
