Bentley Continental GT Speed is Crewe’s top dog, hits 330 km/h!

Bentley’s fastest car, the Continental GT Speed has just been given a slight update with more power, making it even faster than before. What’s more, there will also be a new Black Edition trim based on the GT Speed.

This time around, performance from its 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine gets a marginal bumper  8 hp and 20 Nm of torque, bringing the total output to 633 hp and 840 Nm of torque. To make full use of the additional power, torque now peaks in from 2,000 to 5,000 rpm. This results in an improved century sprint figure of 3.9 seconds, about 0.3 seconds quicker over its predecessor. Top speed is rated at 330km/h, which is impressive for a car that weighs over 2,500kg.bentley-conti-GT-6

Unlike Mercedes-Benz’s Black Edition models, Bentley’s interpretation of the Black Edition is mainly cosmetic enhancements, making the already swanky car even more striking. For those who love making an entrance, this should help you stand out among the crowd. It’s available in both coupe and convertible styles, and gets dark contrast finishing on the inside and out. A set of 21-inch alloy wheels and red or black brake callipers can be had as well.

No pricing has been revealed at this point, but expect it to cost more than the standard asking price of £168,300 (approx RM937,000 based on today’s conversion rates).
