Ferrari just bagged the prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best award for the third year running with the limited-edition Ferrari J50.
Limited to 10 examples worldwide, the special commemorative model of Ferrari’s 50th anniversary in Japan was voted by judges to be the “maximum expression of design quality and ground-breaking design”. The J50 was penned by Flavio Manzoni and features a completely new bodywork inspired by Ferrari’s very own open competition barchettas (Italian 2-seater race cars). Coupled with the designer’s ambitions to highlight Ferrari’s ethos of nimbleness and agility, the futuristic J50 was born.
Besides the J50, the LaFerrari Aperta, 458 MM Speciale and GTC4Lusso were also awarded with Red Dot distinctions by an international jury of design experts for its high design quality.
