Mercedes-Benz X-Class launching soon, but would Malaysians accept it? [+Video]

Mercedes-Benz is currently breaking all preceding conventions of the brand, this time taking things up a notch with the all-new X-Class pick up truck. It will share the same platform as the outgoing Nissan Navara and Renault Alaska.

The video below briefly shows the X-Class’ LED headlights and front grille, and it sure looks like a carbon copy of the GLC. The tail lights now don’t look as outlandish as the ones we saw on the concept truck. Mercedes-Benz says the truck will strictly be made as a double-cab pickup, for now.

However, the powertrain and drivetrain will be from Mercedes-Benz, whereas the rear suspension may get a five-link setup for greater comfort. Expect a more luxurious cabin with leather-wrapped seats as well.

The Mercedes-Benz X-Class will make its world debut on 18 July 2017, and could possibly make its way to Malaysia in the future. And when it does, will you buy one?
