Tesla V4 Supercharger Station now open at Pavilion Damansara Heights – RM0.63-RM0.97/kWh

Tesla Malaysia has expanded its Supercharger network with the opening of a new V4 Supercharger Station at the B1 car park in Pavilion Damansara Heights, adding four DC fast charging bays for Tesla owners, in addition to the AC Destination Chargers it already operates at the location.

The latest V4 Superchargers can deliver up to 250 kW, allowing the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y to add up to 311 km of range in just 15 minutes.

The new V4 Superchargers also introduces a tiered pricing structure based on the time of day, replacing the flat network rate. This dynamic pricing model offers owners the lowest rates during off-peak hours, with costs detailed as follows:

  • RM0.63/kWh: 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM and 11:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Off-peak)
  • RM0.80/kWh: 4:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • RM0.97/kWh: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Peak Rate)

To prevent users from hogging charging bays, a congestion fee of RM2/minute will be applied if vehicles remain plugged in beyond 80% state of charge (SoC). Users will be given a 5-minute grace period to disconnect their vehicles before the fee is applied.

The launch of the V4 Supercharger Station at Pavilion Damansara Heights brings the total number of Tesla Supercharger stations to 16, with now 72 Superchargers available nationwide. Additionally, the network also continues to feature 16 Destination Charging stations (offering a combined 73 chargers), which remain available for free for all Tesla owners in Malaysia.
