Aside from the changes in pricing, no other changes were made to the updated MG4 EV. The MG4 Lux is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 204 hp (150 kW) and 250 Nm of torque. This results in a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.7 seconds. It is equipped with a 64 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery pack, which enables a range of 430 km (WLTP).
Stepping up to the Lux Extended Range variant sees the rear motor receive a bump in output to 245 hp (180 kW) and 350 Nm, which has shortened the 0-100 km/h sprint time to 6.1 seconds. This variant is equipped with a larger 77 kWh NMC battery pack, which increases the range to 520 km (WLTP).

The top-of-the-range MG4 XPower, meanwhile, gets a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain that produces a combined 435 hp (320 kW) and 600 Nm of torque. This allows for a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 3.8 seconds. The XPower is equipped with the same 64 kWh battery pack found in the Lux variant, which provides a range of 385 km (WLTP).
All three variants support AC charging at up to 11 kW or DC charging at up to 150 kW, the latter enabling a 10-80% recharge in approximately 26 minutes for the Lux and XPower variants, and 38 minutes for the Extended Range model due to its larger battery.

The top-of-the-range MG4 XPower variant adds to this list with black Alcantara upholstery and metal sports pedals.
All variants of the MG4 EV are equipped with a suite of ADAS features, which include adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, lane change assist, blind spot monitors, door opening warning, and rear cross traffic alert.
Included in the prices above is a seven-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 180,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, and an eight-year or 160,000 km drive motor and motor control unit warranty, whichever comes first.
