XPeng, Charge+ unveil new 350 kW DC chargers in KL Eco City – cross-country network from Singapore to Thailand

XPeng, together with Charge Plus (Charge+), has opened six new 350kW DC fast chargers at KL Eco City. The new chargers are the result of a new collaboration that will see the latter’s 3,800-charger-strong network across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand integrated directly into XPeng vehicles.

XPeng vehicles will soon have seamless access to Charge Plus’s charging network along the North-South Expressway from Singapore to Thailand. By the end of 2025, Charge Plus says that its chargers will be integrated directly with the vehicle’s on-board infotainment system, where drivers can access the chargers’ real-time status and availability info, and also navigate to the chargers directly.

This builds on the company’s ongoing EV charging solutions that span 5,000 km across five countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia — the longest EV charging backbone in the region. Notably, Xpeng says that they are the first Chinese New Energy Vehicle (NEV) company to collaborate with Charge Plus in Southeast Asia.

At the XPeng and Charge Plus co-branded stations, XPeng owners can also enjoy special charging discounts.

Charge Plus says the collaboration is still in its early stages, with four supercharging sites already operational. These XPeng-branded locations include Royal Square Novena and Downtown East in Singapore, One Bangkok in Thailand, and of course, KL Eco City in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In the second phase, both companies pledge to expand on their existing network of chargers to other countries in Southeast Asia, such as Indonesia, with plans to include stations at high-traffic locations, including commercial hubs, retail malls, and highway rest stops across the region.
