iCaur Malaysia strengthens regional after-sales with new components hub

iCaur Malaysia has unveiled its new iCaur Components Hub, an 88,000-square-feet facility managed by Chery Corporate Malaysia and shared with its sister brands, Omoda and Jaecoo Malaysia

According to the company, the centralised warehouse will help support after-sales operations both locally and regionally, as Malaysia will also serve as the central hub for the brand’s right-hand drive (RHD) models in the ASEAN region.

Housing over 10,000 curated spare parts currently, the new facility will also help iCaur Malaysia strengthen its network readiness, building up its supply chain ahead of the launch of the iCaur 03, which is slated for Q3 2025.

iCaur Malaysia says the establishment of the facility aligns with Malaysia’s mobility goals under the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2020. According to iCaur Malaysia Vice President, Emily Lek, the warehouse will also support iCaur’s growing dealership network, which will soon include 16 partners nationwide, with further expansions planned for 2026.

In related news, iCaur Malaysia is hosting its first-ever public test drive event for the new iCaur 03 rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant, which will be held at Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity, from 21 to 24 August 2025.

The RWD variant of the iCaur 03 features an electric motor that produces 184 hp (135 kW) and 220 Nm of torque. This enables the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, up to a top speed of 150 km/h. Equipped with a 65.7 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the RWD variant can travel up to 426 km (NEDC) on a single charge and supports 6.6 kW AC charging as well as 80 kW DC fast charging, the latter enabling a 30-80% recharge in 30 minutes.

Additionally, the all-wheel drive (AWD) variant of the iCaur 03 will also be available for test drives. It features a dual-electric motor powertrain that produces a combined 279 hp and 385 Nm, translating to a 0-100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds. Top speed is the same with the RWD variant at 150 km/h.

Despite featuring a larger 69.8 kWh LFP battery pack, the range of the AWD variant is slightly lower at 418 km (NEDC). Charging specifications are shared with the RWD variant at 6.6 kW AC charging and 80 kW DC fast charging.

The iCaur 03 is now open for booking in Malaysia at an estimated price of between RM145,000 to RM155,000. The first 30 customers who place an official booking during the event will receive a limited-edition iCaur 03 scale model worth RM1,388.

The iCaur iXPERIENCE Obstacle Drive takes place at Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity (Car Park 3), daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with test drive sessions available from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
