The iCaur V27 has made its official world debut in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as the flagship model of the iCaur line-up. Following its international debut, the new SUV is scheduled to be launched in its home market of China in Q4 2025, as reported by CarNewsChina.
We reported previously when iCaur released teaser images of the V27 in heavy camouflage, noting its design was similar to the Land Rover Defender. Now that the car has been fully revealed, it’s clear there are design cues from not just Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz G-Class, but even the US-exclusive Toyota Land Cruiser 1958 trim, depending on how you look at it.
This inspiration can be seen in the design of the headlights and the rugged front bumper, while the rear bears the most resemblance to the British off-roader with its vertical taillights in a square design.
Curiously, iCaur did not reveal the interior of the V27 at its debut. Perhaps the company is keeping the cards close to its chest upon closer to its market launch in China by the end of 2025. Based on images taken from the debut, though, it appears that the iCaur V27 will be offered with a panoramic sunroof that is split down the middle.

Spy shots of the iCaur V27’s interior seen floating around the internet seems to suggest a dashboard layout that resembles that of the iCaur 03. It features a large centre infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster, with a centre console that has a rotary knob, presumably for gear or drive mode selection.
For the powertrain, it is confirmed that the iCaur V27 will be powered by a range-extender-style series hybrid system. This comprises a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and an electric motor for a combined output of 455 hp (335 kW), with a pure electric range of 200 km, according to the CLTC test-cycle.
When the iCaur V27 is launched in China, it will be priced between RMB200,000 (approx. RM118k) to RMB250,000 (approx. RM148k). Will the iCaur V27 eventually make landfall in Malaysia? Only time will tell.
