Leapmotor has given the Leapmotor C10 an equipment list update, alongside a massive price cut for 2025. This fully electric (EV) D-segment SUV is now priced at RM125,000 on-the-road, without insurance. For context, that’s a whopping RM34,000 cheaper than its price when it was launched in Malaysia late last year.
In terms of updates, most of the new equipment on the 2025 Leapmotor C10 in Malaysia are found on the inside. For starters, the Leapmotor C10 now gains a 32-litre frunk, a new tonneau cover for the rear cargo area, and a motorised tyre inflator pump kit.
Additionally, the previous Midnight Aurora interior upholstery that came with models with Pearly White, Canopy Grey, and Tundra Grey exterior colours has also been replaced with a new Black upholstery.
Those opting for the Leapmotor C10 with the Glazed Green exterior colour will now receive an exclusive Camel Brown interior upholstery, replacing the previous Criollo Brown. All of the new interior upholstery is still finished in Oeko-Tex silicone-based material, which is promised to be “baby-friendly.”

Aside from the new interior upholstery colours, the rest of the interior equipment remains the same, with a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a driver’s 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster.
No changes were made to the powertrain of the 2025 Leapmotor C10 in Malaysia either. The SUV is still powered by a front-mounted electric motor that makes 218 hp (160 kW) and 320 Nm of torque.
Juicing the electric motors is a 69.9 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack that enables a range of 424 km (WLTP). The Leapmotor C10’s AC charging speed has been bumped up to 11 kW from its previous 6.6 kW, allowing a 30% to 80% charge in just four hours. DC charging remains the same at 84 kW.
As standard, the Leapmotor C10 is equipped with a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which now includes a new tyre pressure monitoring system alongside features like adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, lane centering control, and intelligent speed assist.
With its new price tag of RM125,000, the Leapmotor C10 is now priced comparatively against the BYD Atto 3 and the Proton eMAS 7, both of which are a segment smaller. This isn’t the first time an EV has received a significant price cut, as earlier this year, the BYD Atto 3 also saw its price reduced by RM26,000 to RM124,500.
Has the EV price war begun in Malaysia? Either way, the Malaysian automotive industry is set for an interesting period ahead.
