Bridgestone Tyre Malaysia has officially introduced the Potenza Adrenalin RE004, replacing the popular Adrenalin RE003. Described as a “premium street sports” tyre, the RE004 promises enhanced driving pleasure with “maximum handling and high responsiveness on both wet and dry surfaces”.
According to the company, the new RE004 offers superb dry handling and wet braking performance, while at the same time still in compliance with the ECE R117-02 international regulation governing the tyre requirements for sound emission, rolling resistance, and wet performance.

The new tyres feature the “triple and half grooves” technology, along with an aggressive “A-shaped” tread pattern to deliver maximum control and stability during braking and cornering. Highly rigid connecting blocks on the shoulder enhances the tyre’s sensitivity, while reducing excess movements at high speeds.
The RE004 also features wider ribs than before to maximise contact patch between tyre and road , allowing for a more even distribution of pressure on the road. The tyres are manufactured with a new improved compound featuring evenly-spread silica, which the company says improves wet and dry performance, as well as lowers the rolling resistance for enhanced fuel efficiency.
as a result, the new Adrenalin RE004 delivers an improved overall performance compared to its predecessor. According to Bridgestone’s own internal tests, dry handling and initial response have been improved significantly, followed by wet handling, wet grip, wet braking, and ride comfort – all while maintaining the performance in terms of road noise and dry braking distance.
The Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE004 is now available at all Bridgestone authorised dealers nationwide. Sizes range from 15- to 17-inches – do check out the full list in the table below:
