Stellantis Malaysia has launched the Leapmotor B10 electric vehicle (EV) SUV on our shores as the little sibling to the existing C10. Available in two variants: Life, and Design, it is priced from RM107,800 to RM118,800, respectively, on the road and without insurance, and before the model’s “launch promo”, valid for the first 200 customers.
- Leapmotor B10 Life: RM107,800
- Leapmotor B10 Design: RM118,800
The Leapmotor B10 measures 4,515 mm long, 1,885 mm wide, 1,655 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. This makes it similarly sized to other C-segment SUVs such as the BYD Atto 3, MG S5 EV, and Proton eMAS 7 (stylised as e.MAS 7).
It carries over many of the styling cues of its bigger C10 brother, featuring similar body proportions and the marque’s signature rear light bar. Notably, the headlights of the B10 are now split with daytime-running lights above near the bonnet shutline, featuring a chequered-flag light signature, while the main headlight beams are positioned discreetly along the corner vents in the bumper. Standard exterior features are as such:
- LED headlights
- LED daytime-running lights with chequered-style light signature
- LED taillights
- LED full-width tail lights
- 18-inch “Star Sports” alloy wheels
- Flush door handles
The Design variant adds:
- Automatic folding side mirrors
- Rain-sensing wipers

Inside, it is immediately familiar if you have been inside its bigger C10 brother. The centre console adopts a floating design and is not connected directly to the dashboard, allowing for a more open centre storage compartment. Standard interior equipment are as such:

- Leatherette steering wheel
- 4-way adjustable multi-function steering wheel

The two variants of the Leapmotor B10 share a similar powertrain, featuring a single rear-mounted electric motor delivering 218 hp and 240 Nm of torque. This setup enables a 0-100 km/h time of eight seconds and a top speed of 170 km/h.
The key differences between the variants lie in their battery capacities. The entry-level Life variant comes with a CATL-sourced 56.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing up to 361 km of range (WLTP). It supports 11 kW AC charging, allowing for a 30-80% top up in 2.5 hours, and up to 140 kW DC fast charging.
The Design variants upgrade to a larger 67.1 kWh LFP battery, offering a WLTP-rated range of 434 km. AC charging remains at 11 kW, that does the 30-80% charge in three hours, but DC fast charging increases to 168 kW. All variants share the same 30-80% DC charging time of under 20 minutes and include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality rated at up to 3.3 kW.
