Say hello to Ferrari’s first-ever fully-electric (EV) model… Well, sort of. Maranello will be revealing the highly-awaited EV in piecemeal, and for now, only its chassis and powertrain has been shown off for now.
Even though it’s known as the Ferrari Elettrica for now – which simply means “Electric” in Italian – we expect it to change when the full car is revealed sometime in Spring 2026, too. The final design is still under wraps, but it won’t be your traditional Ferrari GT sports car, based on what was revealed so far.
When it comes to the numbers game, the Ferrari Elettrica certainly packs enough for bragging rights. Powering this emissions-free Prancing Horse are quad electric motors split between two “E-Axles,” one at the front and one at the rear.
The front e-Axle produces 285 hp (210 kW) and 3,500 Nm, which can be decoupled at any speed for a completely rear-wheel-drive setup. The rear setup is even beefier, putting out 843 hp (620 kW) and a tyre-shredding 8,000 Nm of torque to the ground in “Performance Launch” mode.

While Ferrari did not provide a total system output, a simple addition gives a combined 1,128 hp. This is enough to launch the Elettrica from 0-100 km/h in a blistering 2.5 seconds on its way to a 310 km/h top speed.
Juicing these motors is a 122 kWh battery pack developed in-house by Ferrari. This provides a claimed range of 530 km, although Ferrari has not yet disclosed which test cycle was used to achieve this figure.
For those curious about the Ferrari Elettrica’s soundtrack, Ferrari states that the Elettrica will mimic the timbre of an internal combustion engine. Maranello clarifies that this isn’t a synthetic noise but rather a “direct and authentic expression of its components.”

This distinctive sound is said to be generated by a sensor on the rear axle that captures the natural frequencies of the powertrain. These frequencies are then amplified and broadcast, much like an electric guitar produces sound.
That’s pretty much what Ferrari has revealed about its Elettrica for the time being, so we will have to wait for Spring 2026 for Maranello to fully unveil the car in all its glory, but will the engine-less Ferrari Elettrica make its mark on the Tifosi?
