After six exciting weekends, the Volvo Padel Open 2025 has come to an end last Sunday, cementing its place as Malaysia’s largest padel tournament to date.
From a field of over 400 players, a total of 12 champions were crowned across the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced categories. The tournament also attracted 160 players who were participating in a competitive padel tournament for the very first time, including our very own GC Mah!
Held in collaboration with three of the Klang Valley’s premier padel clubs—Joy Division Padel, Padelground, and PadelKu—the tournament was also supported by Coca-Cola Malaysia, Tactical Padel, Directors’ ThinkTank, and REGEN Physio Sports Rehab. Together, they offered players the chance to compete for a slice of total prize pool worth over RM180,000.
Beyond cash rewards, the champions also walked away with complimentary court hours, a seven-day driving experience in a fully-electric (EV) Volvo, and tactical racquets or merchandise.

To keep a level playing field, all Beginner and Intermediate players underwent mandatory assessments by professional coaches to ensure fair play.
These players were also offered complimentary coaching clinics to further equip newcomers with confidence and refine their technical abilities, setting the stage for their qualifying matches on 19 July for Beginners, and 26 July for the Intermediate and Advanced players.
The Volvo Padel Open 2025 successfully captured the energy and inclusivity of the sport, concluding on a high note that did more than just crown champions—it inspired the growth of a passionate community.
