Following the launch of the updated 320i, 330i, 330Li, alongside the refreshed M3 Competition xDrive at My BMW World 2025, BMW Malaysia is now completes the line-up with the new, locally-assembled BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro, now updated for 2025.
Prices start from RM415,200 on-the-road and without insurance, inclusive of the BMW’s extended warranty and service package, making it RM3,000 dearer than the outgoing model.
Most of the updates for the 2025 BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro mirrors those seen on its stablemates. The interior has been simplified and modernised, with a new centre stack layout that was previously introduced on the 50 Jahre edition of the M340i.
The dashboard, as before, features the BMW Curved Display—comprising a 14.9-inch central infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster—running on BMW Operating System 8.5.

Other minor updates here include the new Sansatec synthetic leather upholstery that replaces the previous Vernesca leather, similar to its other 3 Series siblings. A new three-spoke M leather steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marker adds a sportier feel, while newly introduced Galvanic controls adds to the interior’s ambiance.
Another key update to the 2025 model is in its driver assistance systems, with the new M340i now kitted with Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go function, as well as a new tyre pressure monitoring system. The car now also comes with Parking Assistant Plus that adds a 360-degree camera, along with the automated parking system.

On the outside, the car is also pretty much exactly the same as before. It’ll still comes standard with the M Aerodynamics package, 19-inch M light alloy wheels with red brake callipers, twin tail pipes with trapezoidal exhaust surrounds, and an M rear spoiler to set it apart from other models.
Powering the 2025 M340i xDrive M Sport Pro is still the same good ol’ 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder producing 387 hp and 500 Nm, sent to all-four-wheels via an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. This configuration allows for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
The updated 2025 BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro starts from RM415,200 on-the-road and without insurance. Price is inclusive of BMW’s service and repair package, which offers a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and five years or 100,000 km of service coverage. Without the package, the price for the BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro drops to RM388,800.
