BMW Malaysia has given the BMW 330i and 320i Sport another update for 2025, with the cars being unveiled at the ongoing My BMW World event this weekend. Of the two, only the BMW 330i M Sport has been given a confirmed recommended retail price at RM340,200 on-the-road and without insurance, inclusive of extended warranty and service package.
Pricing for the BMW 320i Sport, meanwhile, is estimated to start around the RM290,000 mark. Both models will be locally assembled here in Kulim, Kedah.
Between the two cars, the 2025 BMW 320i Sport received the most updates this time round. As the name suggests, it now comes with the Sport exterior package, that has replaced the M Sport kit from its predecessor. The Sport exterior package differentiates itself with an understated yet classy look.
The Sport kit also includes the V-spoke 18-inch light alloy wheels, paired to Pearl Chrome finish around the kidney grille, and satin silver window surrounds as opposed to the blacked-out look on its elder, sportier-looking siblings.
Kit wise, both cars have remained essentially unchanged on the outside; the new 2025 BMW 330i M Sport in Malaysia continues to feature the M Aerodynamics package, and M rear spoiler, although the 19-inch wheels have now been updated to a new double-spoke design.
Standard exterior features for both variants are as such:
- LED headlights with high-beam assist
- Ambient lighting in front of the doors
- New door projections
- Automated tailgate
- Run flat tyres
Both variants are offered in three standard exterior colours: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and Arctic Race Blue. Additionally, the 330i M Sport has an exclusive M Brooklyn Grey colour option, while the 320i Sport offers Skyscraper Grey as its exclusive colour choice.

The interior also remains unchanged from the two variants’ most recent update, which was unveiled in January this year. The redesigned slim instrument panel now gets integrated narrow air vents that are operated by galvanic joysticks. Both the 320i Sport and the 330i M Sport will also feature black Sensatec Perforated seats.
Technology wise, both variants still also sport the BMW Curved Display running on BMW Operating System 8.5, featuring with a 14.9-inch centre infotainment display and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Powering the new 3 Series line-up is the familiar 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder (B48) engine. In the 330i M Sport, it delivers 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The 330i M Sport accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.
The 320i Sport on the other hand produces slightly less power at 184 hp and 300 Nm. With the same gearbox and driveline, it travels from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds with a top speed of 235 km/h. Crucially, the switch to the Sport package also means that the M Sport suspension has now been replaced with the regular comfort suspension, and the 320i now also don’t get the variable sport steering system.
