Here is the all-new second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT63 in Malaysia, and it is certainly a looker both inside and out.
Powered by a hand-built 4.0-litre Bi-turbo V8, produced under the company’s coveted “one-man, one-engine” philosophy, the GT63 boasts an output of 585 hp and 800 Nm, which is sent to all four wheels via a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and the fully-variable 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system.
The results? Dashing from 0-100 km/h takes just 3.2 seconds, and it’ll go all the way up to a top speed of 315 km/h.
The exterior, packaged around this potent engine, is quite reminiscent of the first-generation Mercedes-AMG GT, though with subtle differences.
The supercar is now based on the same platform as the Mercedes-AMG SL, which sees it grow in dimensions. This growth allows it to have two rear seats behind the driver and front passenger, although these are probably only good for very short adults or children.

Inside the Mercedes-AMG GT63, you will be greeted by an interior layout that resembles the Mercedes-AMG SL. This means you get a portrait-oriented 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster for the driver.
Of course, being a supercar, the interior is generously trimmed in carbon fibre, and there’s also an 11-speaker Burmester sound system if you want to take a break from the growl of the V8 from its quad tailpipes.
The price for the privilege of a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 in your car park? RM1,882,888.
