It seems our bossman GC Mah’s wish has finally come true! For his birthday this year, he finally managed to get himself his very own Prancing Horse… Or did he? Well, sorry for the car cover switcheroo – it’s not a Ferrari, but something that gets him closer to that dream.
So what car is it? We’d usually tell you to watch the video to find out, but true enthusiasts would’ve already guessed it anyway through the car cover, so we’ll not beat around the bush this time – GC got himself a Subaru BRZ, a two-door sports car designed for ultimate engagement.
Under the hood of GC’s new Subaru BRZ is a 2.4-litre naturally-aspirated boxer engine producing 237 hp and 250 Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. It sprints to 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 226 km/h.
An optional six-speed automatic transmission is also available, achieving the 0-100 km/h sprint slightly slower in 6.8 seconds, as well as a slower top speed of 216 km/h.
It’s no Ferrari, but at least it follows the basic front-engined, rear-wheel drive (RWD) sports car recipe. Hopefully, it’ll help our boss become a better driver, maybe even venture into modding, but who knows?
