The fully electric (EV) Honda e:N1 is launched in Thailand, Headlight Magazine reports, with pricing for the EV equivalent of the Honda HR-V set at THB 1.199 million (approx. RM157k) in the kingdom.
Despite Honda Thailand commencing local assembly works for the e:N1 since late 2023, the publication reports that the EV crossover will be fully imported (CBU) from Dongfeng Honda factory in China for now. We’re not sure why that is the case yet, although it’s possible that the imported units will only serve the first batch of customers.
Measuring 4,387 mm long, 1,790 mm wide, and 1,584 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,607 mm, the Honda e:N1’s dimensions closely align with the HR-V. You’d need to get the measuring tape out to really see the difference as the e:N1 is 2 mm longer, 6 mm shorter in height, and has a 3 mm shorter wheelbase.
Even though the e:N1 looks very much alike the HR-V from the outside – save for the addition of a front charging flap, a full-width rear lightbar, and new Honda script badging – the carmaker states that the e:N1 is built on the e:N Architecture F platform, which differs from the Honda HR-V’s underpinnings.

The Honda e:N1’s cabin largely mirrors the HR-V’s interior, with key differences being a prominent 15.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster for the driver. Additionally, the centre console replaces the traditional gear lever with a row of buttons for gear selection.
Powering the Honda e:N1 is a front-mounted electric motor producing 204 hp (150 kW) and 310 Nm, enabling 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h.
The motor is powered by a 68.8 kWh Ternary lithium-ion battery pack developed in collaboration with CATL, providing a range of 500 km, according to the NEDC cycle. Charging is supported with AC charging at 11 kW and DC charging at 78 kW.
Back home, the Honda e:N1 made its first appearance in Malaysia when it was previewed during KLIMS 2024. At a later media event early this year, Honda confirmed its local launch this year, with plans to introduce two additional EV models by 2027.
Given the e:N1’s regional debut in Thailand, a local launch will likely follow soon – so stay tuned for our launch coverage!
