Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) has launched a new range of Urania lubricants specifically designed for light commercial vehicles, offering improved durability, viscosity retention and overall engine performance for the workhorses.
The new lineup of Petronas Urania lubricants consists of the following:
- Petronas Urania 3000 LCV 15W-40 (Mineral)
- Petronas Urania 3000 LCV LA 10W-40 (Semi-synthetic)
- Petronas Urania 5000 LCV LA 5W-30 (Fully-synthetic)
According to PLI, the new Urania LCV engine oil line-up is formulated with StrongTech technology. This innovative technology allows vehicles to stay on the road longer by lowering maintenance requirements, controlling harmful deposits, and improving fuel efficiency—all essential factors for commercial use.
Chief Executive Officer of Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia, Zameer Zahur Hussain said, “Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the Petronas Urania LCV Engine Oil, which minimises engine friction, controls harmful deposits, and improves fuel efficiency.”
“By providing a fluid film that maintains optimal properties at high temperatures, we ensure that engine components are well-protected against wear and tear, no matter the task at hand,” Hussain added.
As part of PLI’s innovation journey, plans are underway to expand the availability of Petronas Urania LCV engine oil across the Asia-Pacific region.
Available in 7.5 litre packs, the new range of Petronas Urania LCV engine oils are priced as follows: RM143 for the Urania 3000 LCV 15W-40, RM221 for Urania 3000 LCV LA 10W-40 and RM400 for the Petronas Urania 5000 LCV LA 5W-30.
