Five years after its establishment, ACO Tech celebrated its fifth anniversary by showcasing new solutions designed to address evolving user needs. The company celebrated it by unveiling a brand-new logo and a glimpse into its automotive infotainment suite – which includes multi-language voice recognition and EV features.
The upcoming ACO Tech offering will be an updated Atlas operating system (OS) system that will include expanded voice recognition features with language support for Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and Cantonese, catering specifically for Malaysian users. The company also shared that the new Atlas OS will now support more streaming and gaming applications, including YouTube, TikTok, and many more.

To go along with this new app support, ACO Tech has also updated its on-board navigation system, which will now display the estimated fuel level at the end of your journey, estimated toll fares, as well as reports for any accidents occurring along the route. Additionally, the company is developing an e-Call emergency response system and a cloud-based vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication system to improve road safety and traffic efficiency.
The company said it is also working on numerous other features for EVs. ACO Tech is working on a one-touch feature for convenient charging station location, payment, and trip planning. Perhaps we can see the Proton e.MAS7 with the same features as the smart #1 and smart #3.

ACO Tech also unveiled a white paper on “Application Scenarios and Data Governance of Connected Vehicles in Malaysia” at the event. Presented by Proton CEO and ACO Tech Chairman, Dr. Li Chunrong to the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, YB Chang Lih Kang, the paper delves into the global and local landscape of connected vehicle technology, emphasizing the roles of 5G, AI, and big data in enhancing road safety, traffic efficiency, and user experience. The paper also highlights ACO Tech’s contributions to advancing Malaysia’s connected vehicle ecosystem through collaboration with government agencies and automotive manufacturers.
The white paper emphasizes the importance of collaborative data governance within the automotive industry. As data sharing becomes increasingly prevalent, the paper advocates for active participation from all stakeholders to optimize data utilization. By establishing robust data governance frameworks, the industry can drive advancements in intelligent driving, enhance service quality, and safeguard data integrity.

ACO Tech also unveiled a new logo, marking its vision for the next phase of innovation in smart mobility. The circular form represents seamless connectivity and the continuity of the company’s journey of innovation and improvement. Within this circle are stylised elements that spell out ACO, with the main component representing the letter “A” resembling a vehicle that signifies mobility as the core of ACO Tech’s product and services.
ACO Tech CEO Li Pu stated, “Our fifth anniversary marks a significant milestone in our journey as we continue to lead in innovative smart mobility solutions. We have combined local and international talents to develop new technologies that meet current and future consumer demands. ATLAS Re: Imagine is a testament to our commitment to advancing technology and delivering exceptional value to the industry, benefiting our customers, partners, and the country.”
He added, “In addition, we are very excited to introduce ACO Tech’s new logo that expresses the company’s renewed vision, direction, and drive towards the future of mobility. We extend our deepest gratitude to Proton, government agencies, partners, and ACO Tech users for their ongoing support and trust over the past five years, which have been instrumental to our success.”
