Nadia Trimmel appointed as Marketing & Sales VP for Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia & SEA II


Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the appointment of Nadia Trimmel as its new Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Effective July 1, 2024, Trimmel will be spearheading the Marketing and Sales of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and SEA II.

With a career spanning nearly 25 years, Trimmel has demonstrated a strong track record in sales, marketing, and after-sales operations. Her expertise in driving business growth and implementing strategic initiatives will be instrumental in further strengthening Mercedes-Benz’s position in the Malaysian market.

Trimmel holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from Manchester Metropolitan University. With a career in the automotive industry spanning nearly 25 years, including key roles within marketing, sales, and aftersales at Ford and Nissan, Trimmel was instrumental to the success of the Van division and an integral part of the executive leadership team of Mercedes-Benz South Africa.

Trimmel has expertly guided the Mercedes-Benz Vans business operations and driven the success of numerous strategic initiatives, product advancements, and process optimizations during her tenure in South Africa. Notably, she spearheaded the transition of the first market, South Africa, to the Retail of the Future model with private vans in 2018.

Trimmel succeeds Bettina Plangger, who is taking on a new strategic project role within the company in Germany. Under Trimmel’s leadership, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia aims to build upon its success and continue to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
