Tesla Model 3 gets new Quicksilver colour in Malaysia at an extra RM7,500

The Tesla Model 3 has just received the new Quicksilver exterior colour option in Malaysia. Available for all variants of the Model 3, the Quicksilver option is available for an additional RM7,500, the same as the Stealth Grey option. Tesla says the Quicksilver colour is designed to accentuate the shape of the Model 3 and change depending on the viewing angle and light.

As before, the Tesla Model 3 is available with four other colour options, giving the Model 3 a total of six exterior shades here in Malaysia. This includes the Deep Blue Metallic and Solid Black options which cost an additional RM5,000, the Ultra Red which can be yours at an extra RM11,000, and the Pearl White Multi-Coat which comes with the Model 3 by default without any extra cost.

The Tesla Model 3 is offered in three variants in Malaysia, namely the Rear-Wheel Drive, Long Range All-Wheel Drive, and Performance All-Wheel Drive. Prices for these variants start at RM181,000, RM210,000, and RM242,000 respectively.

The Rear-Wheel Drive variant is powered by a rear-mounted motor that allows the all-electric sedan to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. It has a WLTP-rated range of 513 km and can be charged at a maximum DC charging rate of 170 kW.

The Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant on the other hand features a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, which enables the car to perform the century sprint in 4.4 seconds. On a single charge, it can carry you as far as 629 km (WLTP). It has a maximum DC charging rate of 250 kW.

Sitting at the top of the Model 3 range in Malaysia is the Performance All-Wheel Drive variant. It is powered by a dual-motor AWD setup that puts out 450 hp, which allows it to go from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 262 km/h. Due to its more powerful motors, its WLTP-rated range is slightly shorter than the Long Range variant at 528 km.
