Zeekr has just put out a teaser of its upcoming SUV that will be debuting soon. Currently still known by its codename, Zeekr CX1E, it will be the brand’s challenger to the mighty Tesla Model Y.
Still hiding under its bright orange camouflage wrap, the Zeekr CX1E is one of the seven models Zeekr is planning to put out by 2026, with several models to be introduced as China-exclusive models. The rest will be introduced internationally in markets such as Mexico, South Korea, as well as the Western Europe region.

Despite not being fully revealed just yet, the Zeekr CX1E looks to be sporting headlight and taillight designs similar to the ones found on the Zeekr 007 sedan. What seems to be a LiDAR sensor can also be seen being placed on its roof.
No technical details have been published regarding the Zeekr CX1E just yet, but it is expected to be built on the same Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) as the Zeekr 007 and should make over 600 hp. The all-electric SUV could also feature the same 800 V architecture as its sedan sibling, which allows the latter to support up to 500 kW of DC charging rate.

With that, the Zeekr 007’s battery can be juiced from 10 to 80% in about 12 minutes. This is quicker than what the Model Y is capable of, as its 250 kW maximum DC charging rate requires more than 30 minutes to do the same.
Just in case you didn’t know, Zeekr is also said to be making its launch in Malaysia very soon. Aside from the Zeekr X being spotted on Malaysian roads, the EV brand has also been reported to be making its entrance into the Malaysian market with its partner, Sentinel Automotive Sdn Bhd. When Zeekr officially steps foot into Malaysian ground, it will mark itself as the third brand under the Geely Group to sell its cars in Malaysia, after Proton and Volvo.
