2024 Porsche Macan EV, Taycan facelift available for booking in Malaysia



Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) is hosting the Porsche World Roadshow (PWRS) at Sepang International Circuit from June 20 to 29. Certified international Porsche instructors lead the PWRS driving experience with guided driving on the racetrack including acceleration, braking, slalom, and off-road driving.

At the Porsche World Roadshow, participants will get to test a variety of Porsche’s finest sportscars including the 911 Turbo S, GT3 RS, 718 Cayman GT4 RS, Spyder RS, Carrera GTS, and the Targa 4 GTS.

Porsche’s four-door models including the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, Macan GTS, new Panamera, new Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo are also available as part of the driving experience. Participants will also experience the Cayenne’s off-road capabilities on muddy terrains.

At the event, Porsche also announced that the facelift Taycan is now open for booking with prices starting from:

  • Taycan – RM575,000
  • Taycan 4S – RM675, 000
  • Taycan Turbo – RM905,000
  • Taycan Turbo S – RM1,060,000
  • Taycan 4 Cross Turismo – RM625,000
  • Taycan 4S Cross Turismo – RM700,000
  • Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo – RM915,000

The facelift Taycan will be available at Porsche dealerships beginning July 2024. That’s not all, the new Macan EV was also previewed at the event and is available for pre-order. It’s expected to be launched by this year.

Following 10 years of the first-generation model, the new second-generation Macan EV will only be available as an electric vehicle. The first-generation model will continue to be sold alongside the new EV model, for those who prefer their Macans to be powered by petrol.
