After the introduction of the facelifted GLA200 and GLA250, the performance-oriented Mercedes-AMG GLA35 4MATIC facelift has finally made its launch here in Malaysia. Locally assembled (CKD) at the brand’s plant in Pekan Pahang, this pocket rocket SUV can be yours at RM363,888 (OTR, without insurance).
On the outside, the facelifted Mercedes-AMG GLA35 4MATIC now sports new Multibeam LED headlights, along with a restyled front apron and a new AMG radiator grille. It is also fitted with 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels with red brake callipers to remind you of its sporty identity.

Like the rest of the GLA facelift lineup, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLA35 4MATIC’s powertrain has been electrified. Powering the car is a 2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine which comes with 48V mild hybrid assistance and an Integrated Starter Generator.
Paired with an 8-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission (DCT), this setup puts out a combined system output of 306 hp and 400 Nm. The ISG provides 14 hp and 150 Nm of boost for faster acceleration. Power is sent to all four wheels via the German marque’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
