Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) has announced the launch of “Ford Assured”, a new certified pre-owned programme for Ford models that is designed to offer “comprehensive assurance and certification effort aimed at instilling confidence and peace of mind” for its customers.
The main highlight of the Ford Assured programme is its meticulous certification requirements, which also includes a 96-point inspection that covers not just mechanical performance, but also cosmetic appearances, to ensure that the cars are up to the company’s stringent standards.
All cars sold through the Ford Assured programme are below five years old or have a mileage below 140,000 km for the Ford Ranger, and 80,000 km for the Everest, while also having a comprehensive full-service history. If any refurbishments are required, as discovered through the certification process, they will also be carried out according to specific refurbishment standards.
To provide additional peace of mind to its customers, cars sold through the Ford Assured programme will also come with a minimum 12-month warranty that covers the engine and gearbox, provided that no parts are replaced or modified by third parties, and the cars are also serviced, maintained, and repaired by authorised Ford dealers at the recommended service intervals.

The Ford Assured programme is currently offered exclusively at the Ford Ara Damansara showroom, but discerning customers can check out the company’s website for the programme (linked here) to make an enquiry, view photos, or access additional details on the available vehicles.
