Honda shows new logo for upcoming EVs, Zero Series concepts debut at CES 2024

Honda has just debuted the new Honda “0” (zero) Series at CES 2024, the brand’s new global EV series. Alongside this, two concept models from the “0” Series by Honda have been premiered – the Saloon and Space-Hub. A new Honda logo has also been introduced exclusively for Honda’s future EV models, including the Honda “0” series.

The two concept models are said to have been developed using a new Honda electrification design and engineering approach that will debut with the introduction of the Honda “0” Series. Honda says that the Saloon and Space-Hub will also introduce new advancements in design, automated driving, connected technologies, performance, and battery efficiency.

Positioned as the flagship concept model of the Honda “0” Series, the Honda Saloon concept model is built on a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) platform. The Saloon delivers on Honda’s “M/M” man maximum/machine minimum packaging concept, resulting in a spacious interior, along with a low and wide exterior.

Inside, the Honda Saloon concept model’s instrument panel features a human-machine interface (HMI) that enables simple and intuitive operations. Honda has also designed the Saloon with excellent visibility and a sporty driving position, along with posture control that will assist the driver in a variety of driving situations to realise the “joy of driving” in the EV era.

In addition to the new exterior and interior design, the Saloon will also be the first Honda model to debut the brand’s steer-by-wire and motion control management systems.

The EV model based on the Honda Saloon concept model will make its launch in the North American market in 2026. This will then be followed by model introductions in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and South America.

The Honda Space-Hub concept model has been developed to deliver a spacious cabin and excellent visibility. This is thanks to the brand’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” development approach.

Alongside the premiere of the two new Honda concept models, the Japanese carmaker has also debuted a new H mark logo that will be used exclusively for Honda’s future EV models, including the Honda “0” series.
