Video: 2023 Honda CR-V now in Malaysia, from RM160k

The 2023 Honda CR-V has finally been launched in Malaysia. With prices ranging between RM159,900 and RM181,900 (on-the-road, without insurance), the 5-seater SUV is offered in three variants, namely the 1.5 S, 1.5 E, and 1.5 V AWD for the moment. Prices for the e:HEV RS hybrid variant will be announced by early next year.

Outside, Honda has given its all-new CR-V a fresh new look, with features like LED headlights and LED rear lights being included as standard. The entry-level 1.5 S variant gets silver 17-inch alloys, while the 1.5 E and V AWD comes equipped with larger silver 18-inch alloys.

Powering the 2023 Honda CR-V 1.5 S, E, and V AWD variants is the brand’s familiar 1.5-litre four cylinder VTEC turbo engine, paired with a CVT gearbox. This allows the car to put out 193 hp (metric) and 243 Nm.

The e:HEV RS variant on the other hand will sport Honda’s i-MMD hybrid system, featuring a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated (NA) engine. This results in a total of 184 hp and 335 Nm.
