BMW Malaysia prices to hike up by approx. 2.3% starting 2024, MINI by approx. 0.3%

Due to global inflation rates and rising manufacturing costs, BMW Group Malaysia has announced that BMW and MINI models in Malaysia will be subjected to an average price increase of approximately 2.3% and 0.3% respectively.

Coming into effect from January 1, 2024, the price increase is inclusive of the BMW Service and Repair Inclusive (BSRI) and MINI Service and Repair Inclusive (MSRI) respectively. This means that the BSRI and MSRI packages themselves are subjected to a price hike too. This has to be done in order to maintain the quality of BMW Group Malaysia’s warranty and maintenance programs, the company said in a release.

Without the BSRI, BMW models in Malaysia will face a price increase of 1 to 2%. MINI models in Malaysia on the other hand will not be facing a price hike if excluding the MSRI. However, the aforementioned 2024 MSRI rate increase will be applied to all MINI models in Malaysia, resulting in an increase ranging from 0.3 to 0.5%.
