Bang & Olufsen Ferrari Collection speakers and headphones launched in Malaysia


Bang & Olufsen has partnered with Italian sports carmaker, Ferrari to launch its new Ferrari Collection. Said to be a departure from its traditional approach, the Ferrari Collection consists of Bang & Olufsen’s existing headphones and speakers finished in red, which is the signature colour of the Ferrari brand.

The Ferrari Collection lineup consists of the following products:

  • Bang & Olufsen Beosound 2 home speaker – RM28,800
  • Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 headphones – RM7,500
  • Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore portable speaker – RM1,600
  • Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX earphones – RM3,000

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound 2 is the Danish electronics brand’s home speaker that is shaped like a cone. In its Ferarri Collection form, the speaker sports a red aluminium outer case that has been anodised at the company’s factory in Stuer, Denmark.

As its name suggests, the Ferrari Collection Beosound 2 home speaker also sports a Ferrari logo just right below its grille. The speaker is capable of delivering a 360-degree home audio experience and has been designed to be flexible, making it suitable to be placed on the floor, on a table, or even on a shelf.

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound 2 home speaker also features the brand’s Active RoomSense together with built-in proximity sensors. This combination allows the speaker to automatically adjust its volume to fit the room it is placed in.

Another Ferrari Collection product from Bang & Olufsen is the Beoplay H95, the brand’s flagship Bluetooth headphone. It features Ferrari’s jet black shade, along with laser-etched Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari’s Prancing Horse logos.

Its titanium speaker grilles located under the earcups have been anodised in red, and it is finished with soft lambskin leather. The Ferrari collection Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 is equipped with custom titanium drivers, along with adaptive active noise cancellation technology. which allows the wearer to adjust it by simply rotating the earcup aluminium ring. The headphone is also capable of delivering up to 38 hours of non-stop listening.

Also part of Bang & Olufsen’s Ferarri Collection is the Beosound Explore portable speaker. It features Bluetooth and Fast Pairing technology and has up to 27 hours of playtime.

The portable speaker’s two-layer body is anodised in red and black, allowing the red grille to stand out against its darker-coloured interior. It also sports Ferrari’s laser-etched Prancing Horse logo.

Bang & Olufsen say that the portable speaker is also suitable for the outdoors. This is thanks to the Beosound Explore’s IP67 rating, which means it is water resistant up to 1 meter in depth and is dustproof.

Last but not least from Bang & Olufsen’s Ferarri Collection is the Beoplay EX, the Danish electronics company’s most powerful true wireless earphones. It features active noise-cancellation technology and comes with a wireless charging case that allows for up to 20 hours of on-the-go listening.

Despite its compact size, the Beoplay EX sports six microphones as well as intelligent beam-forming technology, making it suitable for taking calls and listening to music. This Ferarri Collection earphone also sports a black foiled Ferarri logo on its right earbud.
