Earlier in June this year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched the facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The price wasn’t confirmed yet for the A 250 variant of the A-Class back then (estimated at RM264,000), but now the price is officially listed at RM263,888 and it has been effective since August 1, 2023, according to Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
Four variants were introduced during the A-Class facelift launch. This included the A 200 sedan, A 250 sedan, AMG A 35 Sedan, and the AMG A 45 S hatchback. With the price of the Mercedes-Benz A 250 now confirmed in Malaysia at RM263,888, only the AMG A 35 Sedan’s price has yet to be confirmed.
What’s new to the A 250 now is the brand’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive (AWD) system as opposed to the previous front-wheel drive (FWD) configuration. On top of the base A 200 variant, the A 250 adds an AMG Line trim and 18-inch wheels.
The changes to the exterior of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz A-Class are minor. The tweaks can be seen in the new headlights, taillights, larger grille, and new bumpers. The new A-Class also introduces the hood power bulges for all variants now. Previously this was only present on the AMG A 45.
