Tesla Malaysia is hiring, walk-in interview reportedly on June 17



Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Tesla, the electric vehicle (EV) maker will be making its official entry into Malaysia. And now, good news for all who are interested in joining the company, as they are reportedly hiring (again), with a total of 16 positions available.

The positions Tesla is hiring are listed both on the Careers section of the official Tesla site, as well as job advertisements that have been cited online. The available positions include:

  • Supplier Industrialization Engineer – Purchasing
  • Office Administrator
  • Enterprise Sales Advisor
  • Senior HR Partner
  • Parts Advisor
  • Service Advisor
  • Vehicle Technician
  • Service Manager
  • Customer Support Specialist
  • Delivery Advisor
  • Store Supervisor
  • Senior Accountant
  • IT Desktop Support Technician
  • Delivery Operations Specialist
  • Tesla Advisor
  • Inside Sales Advisor

Tesla Malaysia is also reportedly holding its Walk-in Recruitment Day, which will be happening on June 17, 2023, according to a job advertisement cited online. The Walk-in Recruitment Day will be held from 12 PM to 4 PM, at Cyberview, Level 4, Block 3750, Persiaran Apec, Cyber 8, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor.

It is also noted that the walk-in interview session is only applicable to five of the positions listed above. The five positions include:

  • Tesla Sales Advisor
  • Delivery Advisor
  • Enterprise Sales Advisor
  • Customer Support Specialist
  • Service Advisor

No pre-registration is needed for the walk-in session, and candidates are only required to bring along their hard copy resumes and local driving licenses. This isn’t the first time the American EV carmaker has been putting out job listings as it has done it once just two months ago (April).

It has also been confirmed that Tesla will be establishing an office, its Tesla Experience showrooms, service centres, as well as its Supercharger DC fast charging network in Malaysia. The EV company was also the first applicant under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry’s (MITI) BEV Global Leaders initiative, which was created to increase BEV demand in the Malaysian market.
