Seong Hoe Premium Motors, BMW Group Malaysia’s longest-serving dealer in Malacca has unveiled a new MINI charging facility. Situated strategically at Kota Syahbandar, the charging facility is just two kilometres from the iconic Jonker Street, and is open to all EVs, no matter if it’s a MINI or not.
Set up to address the historical city’s rising demand for EV infrastructure, and support locals and tourists who are visiting from out of state, the facility is equipped with four parking lots and compromises two Stellar40 40 kW chargers. Powered by ChargeSini, the chargers are capable of providing 40 kW of charging when one is in use, and 20 + 20 kW when both are in use.

Two Nexus 22 kW AC chargers are also provided. The MINI charging facility is precisely located at Jalan KSB 1, Taman Kota Syahbandar, 75200 Melaka.
Users will be charged a minimum fee of RM 5 upon booking confirmation. The charging rate for the DC charger is RM 1.20 per kWh or RM 0.80 per minute. Meanwhile, the AC charging rates start from RM 0.07 per minute at 3.7 kW to RM 0.40 per minute at 22 kW.

The new MINI charging Facility in Malacca by Seong Hoe Premium Motors is part of the 1,000+ charging facilities available under BMW Group Malaysia’s network thus far. This is thanks to the company’s partnerships with energy providers such as ChargEV, Yinson Greentech, JomCharge, Gentari and more.
