Ital Auto is Ferrari’s new partner in Malaysia, replaces Naza Italia

Ital Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd (known as Ital Auto) has been appointed as the new official and authorized importer for Ferrari in Malaysia. The appointment is effective from May 5, 2023, following the end of Ferrari and Naza Italia’s partnership in April 2023.

Replacing Naza Italia, Ital Auto will be taking over the former partner’s existing client deposits and bookings for Ferrari vehicles. Not a stranger to the “best of Maranello”, Ital Auto has been an official importer and distributor of Ferrari in Singapore since 2009.

According to Ferrari, Ital Auto has “proven to be an effective and reliable partner by delivering exceptional customer experiences and quality services to our clients” and Ferrari is confident that their customer base in Malaysia and the region will continue to be well served.

Prior to Ital Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s appointment, Naza Italia Sdn Bhd has been the sole distributor of Ferrari in Malaysia. The company is part of the Naza Group which has previously sold cars from Kia and Peugeot. For a short stint, the group even had its own name-brand vehicles with models like the Ria, Sutera, and 206 Bestari.

Globally, Ferrari has managed to sell 3,567 cars in the first quarter of 2023, showing a 9.7% growth from the previous year. Ferrari has also reopened orders for the Ferrari Purosangue after temporarily halting it since December last year. The Purosangue is Ferrari’s first ‘SUV’ and its first four-door, four-seater vehicle.

With Ital Auto announced as the new official partner for Ferrari in Malaysia, those who wish to make orders for the Purosangue might be able to make their dream purchase a reality. There have been sights of Ital Auto’s facility in Glenmarie, but no official announcements have been made yet on the company’s facility locations since the partnership.
