2023 Volkswagen Arteon R-Line 4MOTION in Malaysia now with IQ.Drive, from RM299k



Like the recently updated Golf GTI, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has updated the 2023 Arteon R-Line 4MOTION, now with IQ.Drive technology. 

The IQ.Drive system comes with features such as Travel Assist (adaptive cruise control), Lane Assist (lane departure prevention with adaptive lane guidance, Front Assist (autonomous emergency braking), Side Assist (blind-spot monitor) and rear cross-traffic alert.

Under the hood is a 2.0 litre turbocharged TFSI engine with 280 hp and 350 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox to drive all four wheels with the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. The Arteon takes just 5.6 seconds to get from 0-100 km/h.

With the Arteon’s Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), owners can select from five different driving modes including Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport and Individual. On the outside, the Arteon comes with 19-inch Montevideo wheels, LED headlamps with Dynamic Cornering Lights and 3D taillamps, along with sequential indicators. 

The 2023 Arteon’s exeterior is topped off with an R-Line kit including R-Line front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, and side skirts. A hands-free powered tailgate opens up to a 563-litre boot while colour options consist of Manganese Grey, Lapiz Blue, Pyrite Silver, Deep Black and Oryx White. 

New to the cabin is a wireless charging port and a new steering wheel. A 700-watt Harman Kardon sound system, 11.7-inch digital instrument cluster and 9.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The updated Arteon R-Line 4MOTION now goes for RM299,990, up from RM276,990. It comes with three years free maintenance, a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance.
