Trapo Malaysia, together with OEM automotive upholstery provider DK-Schweizer, has launched a range of ‘SnapFit’ customised car seat overs. The customised seat covers were developed for vehicles with fabric seats, to elevate the cabin feel.
There are three different types of seat covers available – PVC starting from RM1,299, Synthetic leather starting from RM1,699 and semi-Nappa leather starting from RM2,099. These car seat covers will be sold exclusively in Trapo Hubs nationwide.
At the Trapo Hubs, customers can also check out Trapo’s range of products including Oxtra wipers, Oxtra anti-bacterial car sprays, Trapo microfibre towels, coating solutions, along with a range of 70Mai dashcams.

Unlike most seat covers you see in the market, these are model-specific seat covers. There are several pre-designed covers available for most vehicles, but should you feel the need to customise your seat design (with different stitching, material, and design), DK-Schweizer can offer such services at additional costs.
Also unlike conventional seat covers, the range of premium seat covers is compatible with seat airbags and does not obstruct them from deploying. Extra consideration was taken during the development of the car seat cover to ensure that the seat airbag can deploy as intended in an accident.

Installation takes just an hour, but if you opt to customise the design of the car seat cover, it’ll take several days to complete before fitment can be done. As for warranty, the PVC and Synthetic leather seat covers come with a 1-year warranty while the semi-Nappa leather seat covers come with a 3-year warranty.
For the entire month of April, those who purchase the SnapFit car seat covers will receive a 15% discount and those who opt to buy the seat covers along with Trapo’s car mats, will receive a 20% discount.
