2023 Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line updated in Malaysia with new equipment list – RM400k

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has quietly updated the equipment list for the E 300 AMG Line on its website, with a price list that has been effective since 9 February 2023. However, a quick check with a dealer has reveals that the update has been in effect since at least 1 January this year.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line in Malaysia now retails at RM399,888 on-the-road, without insurance, representing a slight RM2,000 hike over its most recent SST-inclusive price tag.

Chief among the updates on the new 2023 model is the new set of 19-inch AMG 10-spoke light alloy wheels, which replaces the five-twin-spoke design from the launch model. Behind the front wheels are also a pair of larger cross-drilled brake discs for better braking performances.

Over at the back, the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line also gains a new boot lip spoiler. As for the boot itself, it now also comes with a hands-free access feature (previously only powered) that lets you open the rear cargo area by waving your foot underneath the car.

Aside from these, though, the Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line mostly remains identical to the car that made its debut in Malaysia back in 2021. Underneath the bonnet is still the same 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four mill, sending 258 hp and 370 Nm to the rear wheels via a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

Other standard equipment here include the Multibeam LED matrix headlights, panoramic sunroof, a Burmester sound system, as well as an interior lined with black leather and open pore wood trims.

The all-new, next-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class model is set for its global debut soon, and will feature the marque’s latest ‘Superscreen’ dashboard with the latest MBUX operating system.
