Volkswagen Malaysia kicks off ‘We Drive Football’ promo – up to 20% off on wear-and-tear parts

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has announced the launch of its We Drive Football campaign, which the company says is “in line with the brand’s commitment to embrace the passion, unity, and diversity that comes with the footballing way of life”.

Running throughout the final quarter of 2022 in conjunction with the upcoming World Cup, the campaign offers several aftersales deals that promise savings on elected wear and tear parts for their vehicles, including a 10% discount when replacing windscreen cleaners, wiper blades, as well as brake discs and pads.

Additionally, battery and tyres replacement at authorised Volkswagen service centres nationwide will also be offered with a 20% discount. The promotion will be open to all Volkswagen owners.

Owners who take advantage of the deals through the Volkswagen Cares mobile app will also stand a chance to win exclusive Volkswagen football merchandise.

Aside from the aftersales promotion, VPCM Managing Director, Erik Winter added that there is “a lot more in store” as part of the campaign, which will come at a later date.

“The Volkswagen brand has been supporting the sport all over the world under its #WeDriveFootball tag line, and we are delighted to be able to join in the celebration that follows football everywhere it goes. 

“This aftersales initiative is only the beginning of our We Drive Football campaign on a brand level, and in the next few weeks, we also will be launching other initiatives on social media, at our on-ground events, and announcing a partnership that would greatly support Malaysia’s budding grassroot football scene,” he said.
