If the Mercedes-AMG G63 isn’t sinister enough for you, you might want to check out the new Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition. Brabus has not only converted the luxury performance SUV into a truck, but they have also widened the AMG G63 and upsized its engine.
Let’s have a quick look around the outside first. Of course, the most striking modification is the new truck bed on the G63 SUV. Brabus first did this with the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP by rebuilding the G63’s rear end, including the rear suspension and driveshaft, extending the frame by 500 mm.
The Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition gives the G63 the “Brabus Rocket Edition Widestar” exterior concept that widens the G63 by 100 mm. The concept includes the Brabus front fascia inserts and front spoiler, “Rocket Red” side flaps, and “Rocket Launch” ambience light integrated into the carbon front grille.
Completing the Brabus look on the P 900 Rocket Edition are a set of 24-inch Brabus Monoblock Z “Platinum Edition” Aero-Disc forged wheels. A unique feature on the exterior of the Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition is the Brabus “PowerView” hood that provides a direct view of the twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

Originally a 4.0-litre V8 AMG engine, Brabus has bored it out to 4.5 litres, churning out 900 hp and 1,250 Nm. Hooked up to the G63’s nine-speed automatic transmission, the P 900 Rocket Edition launches from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
The two original turbochargers have also been swapped out for Brabus-special turbochargers with reinforced axial bearings. The V8 twin-turbo engine sings a new tune through a Brabus Sport Exhaust System with actively controlled flaps and muffler tips with ambient lighting – fancy.

In the cabin, the Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition gets a splash of “Rocket Red” on over 206 individual cockpit elements – From the steering wheel trims to the foot pedals and the air conditioning vents.
The interior design is handcrafted, and many interior elements are finished in Brabus’ “Heritage” brand pattern, paying tribute the Brabus’ founding year in 1977. Brabus has upholstered the seats with a special Brabus “Seashell Diamond” quilting. A range of high-end carbon fibre elements can be seen on the Brabus paddle shifters, steering wheel, dashboard, centre console trims, and door panel compartments.
Pricing for the Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition starts at €773,069.22 (approx. RM 3,471,293). Production will be limited to ten units worldwide.
