Nissan Almera Turbo in Malaysia now comes with free Tomei aero kit and tint, worth RM8k!

Edaran Tan Chong Motor has just unveiled a new set of accessories from Tomei for the Nissan Almera Turbo, which – for a limited time – will now come as a complementary free gift on all new purchases of the B-segment sedan here in Malaysia.

The Tomei kit is priced at RM8,000, although they will come with different items depending on which variant you choose. Starting with the base VL and VLP variants, the package includes an aerokit consisting of two-tone bumper extensions and boot lid spoiler, ICE Cool window tint film, and sports pedals for the driver – the latter also comes with a foot rest.

Moving up to the range-topping VLT variant will net you the additional door handle protectors, Almera-branded door sill plates, as well as door visors, in addition to what’s already available on the standard base kit. The Nissan Almera Turbo VLT already comes as standard with a boot lid spoiler, but if you still want to spruce it up even more, you can also opt for a Tomei GT wing for an extra RM1,400 (also available on the VL and VLP).

All of these Tomei accessories and body kit will come with a three-year or 100,000 km warranty. Existing Nissan Almera Turbo owners can also have these accessories fitted on, at the aforementioned RM8,000 price tag.

The Nissan Almera Turbo is not exactly new any more, with it being launched here in Malaysia back in 2020, so a new shiny body kit could help the B-segment sedan feel just a bit fresher.

Three variants are available on offer, although all of them are powered by the same 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, making 100 hp and 152 Nm. Autonomous emergency braking is also standard across all variants, although the fancier features such as blind-spot monitor and 360-degree surround view monitor are only available on the higher-end variants.

Pricing for the Nissan Almera Turbo starts from RM83,888 (on-the-road, without insurance) for the entry-level VL variant, moving up to RM89,888 and RM95,888 for the VLP and VLT variants respectively.
