Revamped Das WeltAuto website now lets you sell your old Volkswagen online

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today unveiled its updated Das WeltAuto website, bearing a new refreshed design, alongside various added new features to provide more convenience to its customers who are in the market for a used Volkswagen.

The key update to the Das WeltAuto website, however, is the new ‘Sell Your Car’ function – which, as the name suggests, now lets owners sell their Volkswagen to authorised dealerships.

VPCM has designed the process for selling your car through the website to be as simple and straightforward as possible. Owners only need to submit their car details via the website, and their preferred dealership will then be in contact to arrange for a free inspection either at home or on-site before making a “competitive offer”.

Aside from selling, customers can also opt to trade-in their vehicles online for one of the latest models on sale.

The revamped Das WeltAuto website also adds a new ‘Nearly New Cars’ section, which lists certified pre-owned cars with less than 12,000 km mileage on the clock, and are within a year of its registration date.

No matter nearly-new or used, however, all cars listed or sold on the Das WeltAuto platform will undergo the same strict 133-point check conducted and verified by Volkswagen Technicians.

All Das WeltAuto cars are fitted with genuine parts, and are guaranteed to be accident- and flood-free, with proof of service at authorised Volkswagen service centres. For extra peace of mind, they are also offered with a one-year extended warranty programme, alongside 12 months roadside assistance.

The Das WeltAuto programme is now available at 10 Volkswagen dealerships nationwide: Volkswagen Puchong, Volkswagen Tebrau, Volkswagen Skudai, Volkswagen Gombak, Volkswagen Juru, Volkswagen Alor Setar, Volkswagen Seremban, Volkswagen Glenmarie, Volkswagen Ipoh, and Volkswagen Melaka.
