Not long after introducing the new Bentayga EWB, Bentley has launched a new ‘S’ variant to further expand the Continental GT family – the GT and GT C – with exterior and interior enhancements with ‘extra dynamism’.

Powered by the same 6.0-litre W12 twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 550 hp and 770 Nm, the engine’s roar is now amplified with a sports exhaust as standard.

It also features the Bentley Dynamic Ride system seen in the Continental GT Speed and Bentayga. The system consists of active anti-roll bars that reduce body roll under hard cornering while improving ride comfort by decoupling the left- and right-hand wheels from each other.Â

The ‘S’ models project a more sinister appearance with a gloss black radiator grille, black exhaust tips, ‘S’ badging on the front fenders, dark-tinted head, and tail lamps. Both the coupe and convertible ‘S’ models can also be specified with new 22-inch wheels finished in a new Pale Brodgar satin finish.

Also unique to the ‘S’ models are the dual-tone interior, with leather hide applied to the seat bolsters, door pads, dashboard, and centre console while a generous dose of suede-like material is used for the steering wheel, gear lever, and backrest for a sportier touch. The meter displays are carried over from the Continental GT Speed.

Bentley said the introduction of the ‘S’ model offers more diversity to the Continental GT and GTC models along with the ‘Azure’ range. While the ‘Azure’ range centres around onboard comfort and wellbeing, the ‘S’ models focus on performance and visual presence.
