Mercedes-AMG says ‘Goodbye’ to the AMG E63S with Final Edition models

Mercedes-AMG is bidding farewell to the W213 E63S AMG with ‘Final Editions‘ of the sedan and estate after nearly six years in existence since it was first introduced in 2016, before undergoing a facelift in 2020.

The exterior of both body styles is finished exclusively in Matte Graphite Gray Magno paint, along with 20-inch AMG forged wheels and the AMG Night Package.

The exterior package includes a front splitter, AMG side sills, and mirror caps, window surrounds, exhaust tips and AMG rear bumpers trims that are all painted in high-gloss black.

The exclusive Final Edition markings can also be seen on the inside; firstly through the AMG Performance Seats wrapped in Nappa leather, with grey and yellow stitching.

Nappa leather is also used on the steering wheel (with a mix of microfibre) and dashboard. Completing the Final Edition interior are model-specific items such as yellow illuminated door sills and AMG floor mats that mimics the colour scheme of the AMG Performance seats.

Other distinct Final Edition features include carbon trims on the doors, dashboard and centre console. To further enhance the exclusivity of the Final Edition models, each unit is branded with a ‘1 of 999’ badge on the inside.

With every purchase of the Final Edition models, each customer will also receive a customised AMG Indoor Car Cover with “AMG E 63 S Final Edition” lettering in the matching colour.

No performance upgrades were mentioned so it’s expected that both body styles will continue serving 612 hp and 850 Nm from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission to drive all four wheels. 0 to 100 km/h in the E63S takes just 3.4 seconds.
