Jaguar Land Rover (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (JLRM), a joint venture between Sime Darby Motors and SISMA Auto, has consolidated its retail operations, making it the sole importer and dealer in Malaysia.
The move includes the acquisition of dealer assets and transfer of staff from both Sime Darby Auto Connexion and SISMA Auto into JLRM’s central business operations at the Jaguar and Land Rover Dealership in Ara Damansara, Selangor.
This 167,586 sq ft facility houses both new and approved Jaguar Land Rover pre-owned vehicles. It’s also the largest Jaguar Land Rover 4S facility in the South-East Asia region.
Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia Sdn Bhd also has retail operations located in Penang; along Jalan Sultan Abdul Samad. As for the Southern Region, Service Outreach programmes will be curated to serve the local customers.
Aside from the announcement, JLRM also added that customers can expect more luxurious and convenient services to be rolled out. It also plans to increase its investment in digital initiatives over the next few years to continue improving customer service.
JLRM will also train more Jaguar Land Rover Master Level 4 Technicians and Electric Vehicle Technology Certified Technicians for customer assurance.
JLRM highlighted that customers can also expect new models in the near future including the Jaguar F-Pace with a new interior and exterior design, the XF, I-PACE, Land Rover Defender 90, and the new Range Rover.
